If your girl can't accept your dog then she can't accept you either. You should never want to give away your dog because of your girl. If your dog was biting her or really causing her bodily harm then I could see you having to get rid of it because the dog would be unsafe around any person, but this is not the case. She probably doesn't like dogs like a lot of other people, but that's her problem not yours. If you and this girl don't make it in the future then you would have gave up your dog for nothing. It's your responsibilty to take care of your dog, not put him to the side for a girl your with. You need to kindly tell her and be stern about it and say to her that your dog is your dog and you don't plan to get rid of him. Even if you don't tell her she'll get the picture when she sees the dog is still there months down the road. If she continues to have a problem with this or feels like she wants to leave then she really doesn't love you. A woman will accept you and your dog if she loves you.

Get rid of the girl. The dog will always love you, but the girl is iffy.

Tell her that you aren't willing to get rid of your dog for her and if she leaves over your dog, then you really don't need her!! But if she is willing to stay and you not get rid of your dog, then every thing is gravy!

Dude, your dog will smother you with love, affection and devotion for the rest of his/her life. Take it from one who is older (I'm guessing) and possibly wiser and has the experience. No woman on the face of this Earth can promise you that!
KEEP THE DOG!!!

lol...get rid of her...gosh...i hate when girls are so girlish arounf their mens dogs..."like, oh my god, you dog just licked me on my face, I think Im gonna go and take a shower right now." yeah maybe thats what they want to say to you but don't want to. So when your girl leaves your house...she probably hops in the shower right away...and she never tells you.
