Rules are rules, and there for a reason. In general there are not legal ways of getting around them.

You could work for a few years to be able to fulfill the consulate rules if it is a matter of skills or finances, then re-apply after that time.

Or you could Choose another country, although you could run into the same problem.

Best bet, study the residency requirements and rules, then work to conform to them, however long it takes, then try again.

If you love or enjoy that country so much then at least respect it's rules...If they cannot accept you for what ever reason just deal with it and go for your second choice.
