Please give a short description about them. Remember, I have to write an essay on them so make sure a 13 year old boy can relate to them! And don't make it something cheesy like they are the patron saint of sports and I play sports, etc.

How about St. Francis of Assisi? He had a reputation for being very Christlike, & was a very immensely loving man. He is also credited with creating the first Nativity scene.

Or you could go with St. Peter since he was the Apostle whom Christ Built His Church upon, & whom the Papacy is traced all the way back to.

St. Maximillian Kolbe courageously opposed the Nazis & took the place of a man who had been sentenced to die in Auschwitz.

St. Michael the archangel opposed Satan in Heaven & stood up for God's Honour against him.

St. Martin of Tours(the cousin of St. Patrick)was a Roman soldier who gave his clock to a half-naked beggar, & later dreamed of Christ Saying He Was the one who received the cloak.

Another one is St. Gabriel Possenti, a young monk who is credited with saving a tiny Italian village from being plundered when he came out & manoevered a gun off one of the attacking thugs & sent them all fleeing when he showed what a great shooter he was.

Hope some of those help.

What a waste of a question. If you are serious about Confirmation, you should be looking into the names of saints and how you relate to them yourself. Why be confirmed now if you are not ready to study and show yourself approved. Maybe you should wait while you ready yourself.

Joseph. Joseph Smith at the age of l4, desired to know the truth. He read in KJB, Jame 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of god who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given". Joseph prayed this prayer. He was visited by Jesus Christ and God the Father in the early 1800's. Joseph desired to know which church was true and which to join. He was told, "to join none of them", Heavenly Father said, "they draw near to me with my lips but their hearts are far from me". Joseph Smith was given authority by Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father, to restore the church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Priesthood was also given to young Joseph by Peter, James, and John. Many miracles happened to the boy Joseph because of his faithfulness and willingness to serve God and do His will. Prayers can be answered, no one on this earth, save Jesus Christ has done more for man than Joseph Smith, prophet, seer, and revelator in the Latter-days!!!
