Show them love, God will make things right Himself, do not avenge yourself, do not associate with them.
Romans 12:19
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

The Bible says turn the other cheek. We are here to give love and receive love...no one said we had to like everyone. We can send love even when it is not reciprocated. Note the equation:
Anger (red) is being projected
Add: Spirit thought (white)
It becomes: Love (pink)
As a visualization, this works wonders in your own spirit and with others...you gave them something else to use in their thoughts.

proverbs says a dry morsel and peace is better than a great feast with strife, Jesus said he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. in general you have the right to defend yourself but hostility without a reason is a sin. it says somewhere in the later books of the new testament that a striker (probably a brawler) can't become a preacher.

The Bible says to forgive them and pray for them. The Bible says if someone hits your cheek, turn so that they can hit the other cheek. In the Bible, Matthew, I believe, the Lord says to not seek vengeance. He said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay." He says not to concern yourself with vengeance at all, but to love mankind. Treat them with respect and courtesy, even when they hate you and hurt you. The Bible says that if you do that, it will be the same as putting burning coals on their head.

13:4 If thou shouldst dis a believer, or honketh off a prophet, the Lord shalt smite you in your wickedness:
And He shalt perp-walk you from the part of his Kingdom in which thou doth standeth;
13:5 Until thou shouldst arriveth at the farthest parts of his Kingdom; and from thence to the four corners of his earthly domain; and yea, even to the tops of the highest mountains, and unto the shores of the many waters.
13:6 And as thee are thus marched, on thine tippy-toes, the Lord shalt alternate between administering kicks to thine fuzzy butt, and dope-slaps to the back parts of thine unseemly noggin, until thee are sufficiently chastized: Thus sayeth the Lord.

If there is a sin, I'm probably guilty of it. The Bible says that if you are guilty of any trangression, you are guilty of them all.
So being blameness is not even a goal of mine. Trusting God is.
I want you to know that the world is full of sin, washed and unwashed. Improving behavior is a good thing, but it isn't salvation or righteousness.
Trust God. Put yourself away and trust God. He can even teach you to trust Him more, He can even teach you to love Him.
Those are my goals. My behavior at times? Rancid filthy and gross.

Jesus said that in the old testament we were told not to kill but He said 'do not even be angry with your brother or you will be in danger of hell fire.'
Why so? The law is about love. Love is of God. God is love.
You can tell if people are of God or not no matter whether you meat them in church or some other place. If they are loving, they are of God. If they are not loving but hateful and vindictive, then they are not of God because God is love.
