Hello, It's one of thoses trick questions right. Just kinding. All diets are ther for one purpose to get you to buy and participate in their program. I've known other women who have tried these diets and lose some weight and then gain more back. They lose then get themseleves in a state of not watching their calorie and diet anymore. I believe the best way you can diet is research food and what you get from each item make up your own plan and if you want take alittle information from other programs but make up you own diet and food you prepair yourself and make everyday. One thing I believe is to eat 3 meals a day and have 2-3 snakes a day. This makes your body's mecahanics work and help's you stay at a lower fat level. Now I don't mean EAT WHAT YOU WANT , but check out things like fruits and nuts and things like this for your snakes between meals and make your meals with nutrition in mind and make the portions small. Try to stop eating before your plate is empty, before you get that "stuffed and I need to take anap feeling". Well I hoped I have helped you some or at least given you something to think about. And the older we get the harder it is because we are less active. And most important do so kind of exercise ( walk, jog, swim, etc.) This is very important. You don't have to go 10 miles the first time but start small then do alittle more at your own pace. Make it a reward for yourself a relaxing thing to do after ameal if you can is walk somewhere and enjoy what's there. Well, hope I've helped if not I'm sorry. You can email me with more questions on my email site at goodie2154@yahoo.com if you have question about something I said here today. Bye and good luck "Goody"

Go out and buy all the food at your grocery store for the month and then check and see for yourself. My sister says "it's too expensive" but she spends way more than that on all the fattening stuff her and her hubby keep gaining weight on. I have been on Nutrisystem and it costs less to eat when I'm on it then when I'm not. Also, what can you buy at your grocery store that doesn't need to be refrigerated. Nutrisystem needs no refrigeration and so when the hurricanes hit I had food when other people's food was going bad. My same sister who said it was too expensive had to buy a generator. All I had to use to keep my food good was NOTHING but to open it up and eat it!!! HAHA

For your personal expenses, put everything into a spreadsheet and total them at the end, you'll have the best answer for you.

NutriSystem is very effective if you want prepackaged meals and you want to eliminate calorie counting and meal planning. Everything is taken care for you.

Problem happens when you stop. If you have not changed your eating habits, you will gain the weight back. I have seen it happen too many times.

So it is effective and will work provided you have a maintenance plan and /or changed your eating habits for good.

No. You can do the same thing at home. Try weight watchers..they teach you how to eat properly.

You don't need to pay to lose weight.

Simply eat low fat/high fiber healthy foods and exercise. It's really that simple.
