It seems that they would much rather go for a single man without kids who will take there own on rather than them having to take kids on aswell

I guess a woman who's over 30 with no kids didn't have kids and thus maybe isn't prepared to deal with kids at all. Maybe they do not want kids, which would explain why they don't yet have any.

Otherwise, maybe it scares them.

I think its probably because its usually the woman that looks after the kids.
If your a full time father you will know that bringing up children can be quite stressfull, expensive, time consuming & lonely sometimes, aswell as great fun.
I think purely selfishly in an ideal world we would find a new partner that adores kids, doesnt have their own to worry about & has all the time in the world for ourselves & our kids.
Plus long-term how does it work? Single parents are alot of the time not that well off, if you enter a relationship with someone & it gets to the 'moving in' point what do you do....buy a mansion or squish 6 kids into a 3 bedrooms semi ?
Its definately easier to move 1 person in to the other half of your bedroom !
Its a tricky one thats for sure.

Sexy Mams

mixing kids is hard ... if they don't like each other, the parents won't have a minute peace. Also, single moms want a partner, not even more kids to take care of! Try finding a woman who desperately wants kids but maybe can't have any.

I'm 29 and a single woman. I don't want a man with kids. I don't want to have to deal with someone else's kids. Selfish, I know, because I have a kid. But that's where I am right now.

maybe it's easier for them to say no to you that way?

i think it comes down to what makes most relationships work...are the man/woman compatible? very profound, but if they're single parents they'll know the script already and will decide if they want to make the effort.

i'm a single parent and i've dated a divorcee with two kids and a couple of guys without. it's obviously harder when they have kids but it's def workable. it's harder for them cos i've got kids so they've got to compromise with me too.

it's all swings and roundabouts :o)

Think about your wording here. Its not your kids that are the problem. It is that you are only thinking of sexy mams. Women like to be valued for their personality, their achievements, not just their looks.

I was widowed originally, and since have been married twice to single guys with kids. Never had any problem with their kids. Had extreme problems with the guys and the way they treated MY kids.

I have 2 girls..11 and 14. What do you have? I don't mind kids at all, as long as they don't mind me. I'm 31 and single, looking for Mr. Right, and his brood, if need be. We DO exist.
