Don't go by namesake. You can get a free upgrade in service if you go with another carrier. Same products are re-wrapped and sold as high end only in cost, and not in actual value added. Shop around and read reviews. If you have time. Its good to test the waters, and be in Vogue with the times, but why ask if you have made that choice instead of trying it and making up your own mind? Its a classy outfit from what press I've read. The 60 Min's profile on it's CEO was colorful and interesting. I'd throw a dime his way only because he runs his company a different way and might influence world business in a positive way. Hope you have a good flight in any case. Oh yeah. In recent searches for hotels ; reading reviews on them and so on, I have found that many people find different things good or bad with a hotel. So its purely subjective to offer a opinion on this. Unless your dealing with a cheaper service. Virgin should be generally accepting. I find those who require coddling to be annoying people anyway.

In general, Virgin Atlantic has been pretty good, in my humble opinion. They seem to be on-time with service, and responsive to passengers during the flight. Not sure what brings the question, but I've not had issues with their service when flying, though I don't tend to make a lot of demands. This, as opposed to Northwest Airlines, for example, which I think is a few grades lower in terms of service quality in my experience. Happy flying!

I flew them last year from England to DC. The service was good but I wished I had thought to tell them I am allergic to dairy since their meals all had dairy in them.

UN-BELIEVABLE!

I flew Virgin from London, I could cross my legs (I'm 6'1") the food was great. Very comfortable. I would love to fly them again.
