You might be addicted to carbohydrates. Try to eat more protein and vegetables without all the white flour and sugar for one day and see what happens the next day. Also, not eating for a few hours before bed helps me. When you are craving something sugary, have some protein instead ( boiled egg, cheese, or nuts) and that will help you kick the addiction. The first couple of weeks will be the hardest, and then you won't even want the stuff anymore. You'll lose weight, too.

You may find your blood sugar drops in the night, this may be a sign of inadequate nutrition across the day or possibly some condition such as hypoglycemia. Check your diet first, make sure its balanced and suits your personal age weight and fitmess levels, then if that doesnt sort it get a blood test to check for a medical reason
