It seems then that they are doing what they can to preserve our freedom to choose and not be subjected to the rigid "you must all be sheep and I will continue to take away all your personal choice rights" of the so called religious conservatives..I support many of the above groups and I am proud of it too.

I have no problem with this. I only care about what those organizations do, not what house of worship their leaders visit.
I'm guessing the reason for this is that Jews, historically an outsider group, were drawn to those philosophies or organizations that were more open, tolerant, and progressive. As an often unpopular minority, Jews would understand the need to support civil rights and an open society, so their support for leftist social groups is generally reasonable.

At the same time, Jewish Americans are among the most powerful people in the Bush administration. Guess what, many Jews are smart and driven and have the ability to influence policies on both sides of the table. Perhaps many Jews hold themselves to higher standards then the general population.

Jews running the ADL-I'm shocked. And, of course, Jews have a long history of running the NAACP-going back for centuries.

I'm fine with it.
I assume you mean left as in left of a moderate democrat.
The left ever since the civil rights movement has been mostly responsible for many progressions concerning equal rights.

How do I "feel" about your posted question? It's promoting a total negative stereotype, overgeneralization, and an indicater that you're a militant conservative who simply hates Jews.

I couldn't care less. Why do you care what religion or ethnicity runs these organizations? Would you approve if they were Episcopalians? Sounds a bit anti-Semitic to me.

Is that why Bush and his Administration supports them? Many in the Republican party support them to. What does that say?
