i am a fitness buff (see my id) but reached a plateau 10lbs short of the goal weight. Tried all diets and didn't lose. Then i fell head over heels in love, and Bam! lost 10 lbs in one week. Dpo you have a logical explanation? Thanx!

Before you fell in love, you were withholding a small portion of your efforts subconsciously so that you would have a reserve in case you needed it. We rarely perform to the upper limit of our capabilities. Falling in love caused you to let loose some of your reserve because you were motivated to reach new heights.

In your case, it appears that when you are happy you dont feel food is important enough. You may feel full even when you eat meagerly. This happens to people in love in the beginning. It seems to be related to anxiety. Be careful though and check your intake for nutritional food to keep healthy.

Emotion is known to affect weight. Some may gain weight and some may lose weight.
