It is generally believe that myopia is inherited, that is, one is born to be nearsighted and the eyes will attain the predetermined level of nearsightedness and the only management issue is to accurately determine the refractive error and use optical devices that allow clear vision (glasses, contact lenses). Environmental influences (near work, psychological stress & nutrition) are also thought to play a role. Herein lays the controversy.

There are several claims that the environmental factors play a far greater role in myopia development than is traditionally accepted and appropriate modifications lessen, reverse or even prevent myopia development. There is an understandable desire for preventing or reducing nearsightedness using non-surgical methods, however considerable disagreements exist regarding the effectiveness of available optical or behavioral therapies.

There are no eye exercises that will help your eyes see better or that will prevent the nearsightedness from getting worse. Be wary of the claims to the controry as there is no published peer reviewed scientific evidence to support the cliam. Think about it - if See Clearly method actually worked - why then would the company not do controlled clinical trials, get FDA approval and publish results in scientific journals. Instead See Clearly method is only advertised as infomercials. Tells you something .......

There are several methods to improve quickly and naturally eye sight.
To know how to do that you can find here a complete method based on researches done by some scientist, for a cheap price ( http://getyourvisionbacknow.keysolve.net )

I can give you just some tips but I suggest to give a look to the method that i posted above, for example you can take more food that contains vitamin A such as carrots may help to naturally improve your eye sight.
We can also always do exercises. There are exercises such as rolling your eyeball to form an invisible square that are always recommended by the doctors to improve one's eyesight.
I don't know about quickly as there is no fast way to reach one's goal.

Vegetarians can help to improve one's eye sight. I believe it because I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after about 2 years.
The doctor was shocked because teenagers at my years will usually have a most increase since we are always watching TV, playing computers and also reading.
I do not know whether it is totally true or not but it does affect a bit on the result.

Well there's no actual exercises for your eyes, but the best thing to do to prevent your eyesight from getting worse is of course not spending as much time on the computer or tv, wear sunglasses most of the time, and eat carrots because they keep your eyes healthier. None of these things will improve it, but it will help keep it at least how it is. I know, it sucks having bad eyesight!!

It depends on what the problem is. Some optometrists specialize in vision therapy and this can be very beneficial to people with amblyopia, accommodative disfunctions, etc. Unfortunately, there are no exercises to improve myopia (nearsightedness), presbyopia (losing near vision as you get older), or hyperopia (farsightedness).
But many people benefit from vision therapy - discuss it with your optometrist to see if it can help your particular problem and/or try to research it yourself. Here's a website that I just found that might be helpful!

They are legitimate and effective. You must see an optometrist to find out your particular problem and what exercises you need to do.
