Age should not be an issue, simply because all people are capable of being in charge of their own lives from the age of 16- >.The problem with most young people is that they believe in immortality. Please don't get me wrong,I was exactly the same ,I'm now 40 yrs old and have a private pilots licence as well.I actually learn ed to fly before I was legally allowed to drive on the street.I think it all comes down to your personal drive as a person. If you can get a decent teacher and have the confidence within yourself to take on this life changing situation, then, always, always, make sure that you keep everything in perspective.P.s Please go and enrol in a defencive driving course and take in everything they try to teach you.
