Many people have said in times past that they will allll go straight to hell. Some say there is an atheists chute that God just fires them into hell with like a pitcher on a baseball mound. Well, you are wrong. Many of them if not most will end up in Heaven. Dont count them out. As their life goes on and it nibbles at their toes with all its problems and trajedys their hearts will soften. He, Jesus, will shine His sweet face on their hearts and soften them.My atheist uncle got saved on his death bed. Dont you guys remember the thief on the Cross ? Last minute conversions as well as supernatural visitations of Jesus will change them. Do you think that the darkness of eternity wont make them reach out to Jesus ? I assure you...they will. Let me ask you, why would a God who died so horrible a death let them slip thru His fingers ? It is almost impossible to resist His love. He will get them. Wait and see! Can you just pray and love them ?

I imagine I'll end up in heaven, but only because I've been hedging my bets on the side (shhh. Don't tell anyone.)

Following Pascal's Wager I had to pick some religion or risk any number of eternal punishments. Unwilling to adopt the attitudes of Christianity, Islam, or any of the other giant religions, I had to go with the worship of Bast (you might know her as Bastet.)

I help the cats so that my eternal soul will be safe. Man, all you guys who don't help cats in need are going to be so sorry when you die.

Actually, helping cats to assure a place in cat-heaven seems a little insincere. Maybe I should drop the cat-goddess and just help cats because I like them and it makes me feel good and they like me.

Now I'm so confused.

In any event, The Blackest Cat, and the street cats of Brooklyn wish you well.

Hi. Think about your question for a moment ... you are essentially saying that God will not "save" anyone from an eternity in hell until they believe in Jesus. what kind of a God is that? I would like to think of him as an idiot. An idiotic dictator. You are saying that atheists are an ignorant bunch of people that need to be prayed for, because they are headed down some path to hell unless they reverse directions and start believing in Jesus. Think about it ... it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I am sure even a child would be able to see it. Our world does not work this way .... you do not need to believe in what a book says for God to love you. It's absurd ... and it requires the removal of all logic to believe in something like that. The very definition of God does not fit into your beliefs.

If there is a heaven... anyone will go there if they have good karma. They follow the rules of life, similar biblical rules. Ex. Thou shall not kill. etc.

I believe in life after death, ghosts and reincarnation. These are my beliefs. I believe that what you do in this life will reflect on what will happen in another life. I believe in Karma. I believe that when you die, there is three plains. One for good people, one for bad people and one that is still here. (hence ghosts)

When I die, and there happens to be a god, I am sure that he would understand why I have doubted him and anyone else for that matter. He would understand why many have lost faith in him.

My grandmother believed in God and Jesus... she even went to church the day of her death. She died a horrible death, a dreadful horrible death. So unfortunate, that will not pursway my thoughts nor my beliefs.

Yet, I will never try to pursway someone to change their beliefs as I feel that they shouldn't unto mine. I have got past the cults and brainwashing and now able to live and question everything without regrets.

Why would an atheist care? As far as your statement that Christ would not let them slip away, that means that they don't have to believe to get into Heaven. And if they don't have to believe, then Jesus died for nothing. I can't buy that.

I will and do pray for them. I know that they may yet come around. But I still disagree that non-believers will be brought into Heaven.

May God bless and keep you close to His spirit-nourishing love.

That's a very sweet but niave notion. Because your image of heaven as being an exclusive club for those who have converted to Christiianity is wrong.

I'm sure there is some version of an afterlife where all souls exist but it will be all religions and all peoples, including atheists, not just Christians.

Yes, As they have chosen to not believe. Once a choice to either believe or not is made that seals your fate at that point. Only asking Jesus for forgiveness will save you.

I believe God is loving and forgiving and does not want any people to go to hell. So there might be a second chance. But that is only for him to know and us to find out when we get there.

My prayer is that many atheists will come to know and love the Lord Jesus. Your right, when the rubber meets the road, and they face death, all their past thoughts go out through the window. There is a desire in each one of us to know the truth. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, but through me.

properly, i'm not precisely an Atheist, yet MY version of hell may be such as Off My Meds version too. not something crammed with perfection for me in any respect, i'm a human and as a human, I thrive on warfare and adversity. even as each thing is going precisely my way and there isn't any favor to warfare or [danger of being in mistakes then life receives boring and unfulfilling. which couldn't a reward so a techniques as i'm in touch, good me, it somewhat is HELL. In different words, in basic terms go away me excellent right here on earth to stay as I always have. I in basic terms favor to have this style of life always. No harps, no eternal bliss, in basic terms life and the prospect to warfare and strengthen perpetually. Brightest advantages, Raji the golf eco-friendly Witch

the only way to get to heaven is to love Jesus Christ with all of your heart, if you could only get to heaven by good works, who would be the one judgeing the "good" works? however, i believe that if you are a murderer, rapist, or one of the such, but you repent before you die, and you REALLY mean it, then i think you will go to heaven. do not try o understand Gods word just believe it. If you understand it, then it is not God speaking to you.

Atheists will go to Heaven only if they repent and acknowledge that God really does exist and that He is the only King who saved us from the ultimate penalty.
