I would sooner pull all my teeth out with a rusty pliers than do my high school years again.

I liked high school. I had mostly interesting classes, some of which, I chose to take. I got into photography, and that has stayed with me. And that one teacher that you always remember was when I was in high school. (Actually there were two teachers that have a permanant place in my being.) I had a cool car that I drove to school, made some good friends.

I know that the world is a different place now, though. You just have to go with the flow, be true to yourself in making choices and friends, and always try to remember, that what you do now, will follow you later.

Yeah, I'd go back.

Gaaaah! The idea terrifies me. I was a fringe person in high school, sort of like a hippie - you know, beads, tie-dye, flower person, etc. The jocks and rednecks used to rip our beads off in the halls and call us names. Some of the guys got held down & their heads shaved. We were always getting sent home for dress code violations. Nobody did anything about it back then, since the administration hated us as much as the mainstream kids. I took lots of summerschool classes and got out a year early, skipped commencement, went to school to pick up my diploma, wearing a tank top, no bra, cutoffs and barefoot, and left hold it up in my fist in triumph!

College was great.

I truly did not like high school, didn't like grade school, by to days standard I was probably A.D.D All they could do in grade school was paddle my ***, Now that I am older I wish I had done it different, good grades ,college the whole thing. I read and watch a lot of educational programs . Am married to a teacher
sometimes she talks to me like a teacher and I don't like it , I feel like that kid in school again.
If I went back I would have to know what I know now.

High school wasn't the greatest time of my life, nor was it the worst. I am a high school teacher now, and believe me, I'm so happy not to be a teenager nowadays! And no, I wouldn't want to go back.

I didn't really hate it. I just couldn't get along with a couple of teachers who were (no good words to say ). I wouldn't mind going back knowing what I know now and if those teachers didn't exist. Who knows some other creep might take their place.

Hated high school....I graduated in 2 semesters cuz I just didn't want to be there for long.....The only reason I went to my reunion was to show how much I changed...it felt good to be skinnier and prettier than the most popular girl in school!!!!

I hated high school!
I thought I was the only one that did!
I am so much happier as an adult- the place between child and adult, especially when you have no clue as to what adult means for you is YUCK! That was high school for me!
