I would recommend just using a moist cotton swab or Q-tip; they have the same effect all the ear wax removers have, and you have an actual quantitative sense of how much you have removed. Why bother with all the chemicals when you can just use water and a swab?

Wish you all the best.

Put a mixture of Sweet Oil and Hydrogen Peroxide in your ear, about a 50/50 mix. Place a cotton ball in opening of ear. Lay on the couch or bed with clogged ear side up. Watch T.V. or read a book or whatever you want to do for a while. Depending on what is causing the clog it could take anywhere from 5 mins to several hours for the clog to break. If you continue to have problems then please see a doctor.
One question for you is are you sick? If you have some kind of head cold then you may have a sinus infection which can cause clogged ears.

Good Luck and I hope you feel better

If you're able to get to a drug store or a grocery store in the hygiene/medicine area, look for a box that advertises in Earache remedies.

While you may not have an earache, this will have a blue colored rubber bulb which you can fill with warm water and/or hydrogen peroxide.

The directions should indicate you'll need to tilt the affected ear while you or someone squirts the water into your ear. It will be a bit messy, so use a towel, naturally, but this may help unclog the ear wax.

Don't poke anything into your ear, not even a cottong swab; this will just make it worse by impacting the wax back into the canal.

Take care,

if you put olive oil in your ear with a cotton ball over it, it will slowly break the wax apart and you will be able to use a q tip and slowly dig it out. You can also use peroxide and that helps break it up. The peroxide you will hear bubble but it works faster at least for my husband it does. Hope it works for you.

Did you go swimming or get to much water in the ear? If so take a q-tip and dip it in rubbing alchol, place it in the ear and clean it. This dries up the water and you will feel fine.
