Yes. BUT she needs to train the dog. I bet she didnt properly introduce the animal to the child first. But its not too late.
Fill spray bottles with 1/3 vinager and 2/3 water and place them all over the house. When ever the animal barks for no reason spray it. When it does something inapropriate spray it. Keep consistant just like with a child. The animal has become part of the family and will be heartbroken if they get rid of it, dogs have feelings too.
But in the understanding of being a mom I know how important a quiet baby is. Try to teach the dog the porper behavior around the baby. It may also be a good idea to take the dog one on one to a training corse at a local petsmart. This will show the dog that he is still loved because it will give him a time once a week where it is all about him.
I hope this helps out.

Well, they could just TRAIN the dog.
Get a water mister (make sure it is not on 'stream') and use it in the dogs face when the dog barks, along with loud NO.
DO NOT put vinegar in it as someone mentioned, vinegar in a dogs eyes can't be a good thing and I have never heard of ANYONE do that. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't take a class at petsmart either. The few 'trainers' I have watched there have no business trying to teach anyone anything about dog training.

well, for all humans the baby will be more important.........
but then once u get a dog it is also a family member so it should also be understood like one.
also it should be given time to adjust with the baby and try to create friendship between the two.
it is also true that the dog may be feeling jealous since the baby is getting all the attention give it attention too and its jealousy shuold subside with time.
once the baby grows up the dog will be a great companion for it--remember that
and also if the dog is joung they always do so not only on babies but anything new.....
so basically think from its pt of view also....please

barking is harmless, but if the baby cries maybe the dog should be trained not to bark as much. First what is causing the dog to bark? second, is this a indoor dog? and if it is it should be sent outside if it continues. But like i said barking is harmless, its like you or i singing out-loud. It might not sound good but its expression. Eventually the baby will get used to it. But if baby's napping the dog should be outside.

Keep the dog in another part of the house or outside. Or they could put a muzzle on the dog. The baby is more important than the dog.

They could try to train the dog, but if that doesn't work the should probably get rid of the dog because one day the dog could get tired of the baby doing things and messing its toy that the dog could bite the baby.

I think that is up to your cousin, depending on how much they are able to deal with right now. There is no reason why they can't train the dog to not bark as much now that it has become a problem.

i imagine you've already got your answer. i visit attempt to keep my own perspectives about abortion out of the suggestion I supply. i imagine the purely human beings which could take care of having an abortion in words of the emotional impact, are those that were really professional-determination earlier their unplanned being pregnant. Abortion is a few thing you may under no circumstances undo as quickly because it truly is performed. so that you should be one hundred p.c. confident. because abortion be apologetic about is a few thing that takes position extremely often if you're no longer confident. And it isn't this sort of be apologetic about like you get once you purchase the incorrect motor vehicle or start up the incorrect degree plan. it truly is a be apologetic about that continues to be for existence.
