I have liked a guy from my youth group for about three months now last night i was riding home from camp and i worked up the guts to call him we talked for about an hour i was trying to flirt with him without it being to obvious and im sure he was flirting back but then he told me he had given his phone number to a girl he had met at his camp what should i do now? give up or is there still a chance he likes me too?

sounds like he likes the other girl sorry-i play bridge over troubled waters it helps me forget my x girl that cheated on me and begged me to take her back but said she wouldnt take anger managment for her anger because her dad beat her up as a child and then verbally till she met me. keep trustin in Jesus and if u would tell me more msg me ok thanks alot david

giving a phone number does not make anyone exclusive and if this boy is smart he is looking and decidingwho is best for him not who came into the picture first. every thing before marriage is practice and you only know what is best for you in marriage if date and look around. enjoy what you can have of him with out pressure to make a decision if he goes on a date with either or both dont get disenchanted it just means he is a smart guy looking at his options and you shouldnt want a guy who is not smart enough to know that. once a commitment is made then you should expect more . good luck be smart and be yourself becuase hewont know you if you try to be what you think he wants you to be.

don't put too much drama into it. if u really think u're compatible, do't be scared. even if at first u end up being just friends (or best friends), who knows what might happen later. at least, like this, u're sure he won't forget u, cause u'll keep seeing each other. and the opportunity just might come up when u least expect it.
on the other hand, u r probably really really young. consider this: is it really worth investing so much time and energy in only one guy? i bet there are lots of cute guys around, u just have to look 4 them.
my advice: keep ur options open, have some alternatives, and u can't fail.

If he did like you he would have said nothing about the other girl and would have tried to get in to both of your panties.

there's always a chance he still likes ya, just because he's given his phone number to another girl doesn't mean he doesn't want to have any contact with you. Give the guy a call.

Sometimes people will give their phone number to other people as well simply to make new friends! Until you know he doesn't like you, keep talking to him and making it plain that you have a crush of sorts!
However, if he pushes the fact that this other girl has his phone number, he may be trying to tell you to back off a bit. Use your instincts.

He may be gently letting you know that he doesn't think of you as more than a friend. However, friendships can grow into deeper relationships over time. And even if you just have him as a friend, that is a very good thing to have.
A good friend can last for the rest of your life. If you like him as a person, be his friend and don't worry about the rest.

Sure there is a chance...but my guess is that he was trying to tell you that he isn't interested and he was trying to do it in a nice way.
If a girl called me and I wasn't interested then I would likely have done something similar. Sorry!

Still a Chance he is probably trying to make you jelious and make you want him even more and since your a chick you love that, guys usually don't like that, when a chick says something like that.
Chicks always want what they cant have so keep going for it, you still have a shot.

Be patient. See if he calls you. He obviously enjoyed talking with you. And unless he won't talk to you, you can pursue his friendship.
Just because he gave his phone number to someone doesn't meant they're gonna be together. You've got his phone number too!
