Met a guy thru work hes a local chief exec we've met for drinks lots of times now but mainly talk about work as im attached (tho we dont discuss this). Recently hes started texting me sometims in middle of night - and once or twice very open suggesting feelings. then when we meet he and i just talk about work and yet theres all this atmosphere. He phones late Frid and Sat night I think to check where i am. No physical stuff but got a big hug last meeting. Hes also talking to me about a job. Whats going on here im confused about his feelings for me?

Some people have real problems conveying their feeling by talking about them. Also, some, being afraid of rejection, will not say anything but act to show how they feel. That way if they are being rejected they can always deny that their actions meant anything.
But actions speak louder than words. I believe actions over words always.
Often people won't even be aware of the contradicting signals they send, words vs action.
You have to decide whether you want to pursue it, since he is basically a chicken ;-)

He is definitely feelin you but he maybe the shy type. There are a lot of confident seeming men that are actually hiding a shy side. I would say ask him straight out. There is nothin better than plain speaking. Stop talking about work and take control of the situation. Also, make sure he is single because this could be the type of behaviour that married or attached men indulge in as well.
But definitely ask him straight out.

Sounds like he has fallen for you... BUT he knows you are attached and hates the thought of rejection - thats the reason for the work talk when you meet up - its safe ground.
0It is quite probable he is quite mixed up over you - he wants to be with you BUT would also hate to lose you as a friend if he asked directly in person. Its easier to blag the texts away as a bit of a laugh... LOTS more tricky looking into your eyes...
You need to decide what you want to do here... Do you want to be with him (And I guess you do else you wouldn't have posted this up here) ? If so sort your side of life out and talk to him - who knows where it may lead :)

Maybe deep down he has some kind of feelings for you but as you are now attached he is maybe distancing himself from you so as not to tread on anybodys toes.Which means he is kind and thoughtful.Personally what i think is you need to discuss the situation and obviously your feelings on the matter with him before more confusion occurs and for the sake of your relationship with this man that you are already involved with.Also you need to take time out,take a step back to re-evaluate this situation.........Good luck.

He might wana keep it professional when ya both at work. If you are getting frustrated best thing to do is question him.........when he phones u up on friday or saturday an make sure u get an answer as he might try an dodge it

He wants to do you all over but knows you're with someone so he's dropping hints without wanting to be full on and hoping that you actualy let him know that you feel the same back.

i don't know what you're confused about. He's probably trying to keep work environment clean, thats it.
Kind of a skeeve though if he knows you're 'attached'
