If you mean WinZip as in the software, you can get it from www.winzip.com:)

An alternative is WinRAR, also.

WinZip came with my new computer. There seems to be a size at which WinZip will not zip it for free--a box opened telling me they wanted a one-time payment of $29.95. UGH!

So I went to PCWorld and found a free zip program:Free Zip Program: QuickZip from Joseph Leung

quickzip/downloads.php

QuickZip helps you shrink very large files or extract previously zipped files. It can extract 20 different types of archive files. The documentation is written in broken English but it's good enough to get you going.

Requirements: Windows 98, ME, NT, XP

If you have deleted the shortcat of this winzip, then try this:

goto My computer > c > program files > winzip > then
run the file "winzip.exe"

if you have deleted it through uninstall, then you need to re-install the software again.

download it.

If you use Windows XP, then right click on the file you want to zip and select send to - zipped folder.
Winzip is a licensed program so if you can't get it back by system restore, any free download is likely to be time limited.

I agree with him, yo can download it from their website, but WinRar is better because it has a higher compression rate, and is also compatible with the zip extensions (along with other compression software)
