I think they are equally important, because they provide a delicate balance that brings out the finest qualities of humanity.

Knowledge is necessary, but without faith it is cold, impersonal and simply facts. Those facts in and of themselves provide little insight to life and all its complexities, especially relationships. In fact, knowledge without faith can be cruel and extremely painful both to others and to ourselves.

Likewise faith without knowledge is baseless. Blind faith is not really faith at all - it is acceptance of someone else's ideas and opinions without understanding. This allows followers to be manipulated and used by those who claim to have their best interests in mind. It is also not a faith that survives rough times. Faith is the lifeline that pulls us through tough times by reminding us that hope is an important factor o flife. Blind faith will not sustain us through those times.

But I also would like to add that these two are building blocks of humanity. Combined with compassion, generosity and experience they allow us to earn the most prized possession of humanity - wisdom. Who is more valuable to our society than the wise?

"Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." - Prov. 4:7

knowledge is what you learn while faith is what you believe is true and right. knowledge is important to those people who search about the truth while faith is all about believing even theres no enough evidence. Therefore, faithful person is strong to the things they think is right to them. For teachers knowledge is important because they impart information while priest for example faith is much important because they believe that blessed is the person who believe in God even they havent see him or met him, its all about faith.

The more we learn from past experiences and mistakes, the less we have to make them again and again. The world is a slow take...we have always had war as a solution to conflicts. The faith of any one religion eliminates those not of the faith. Learning respect for all faiths will help eliminate superiority and/or singularity of religion.

Faith, because it engenders knowledge. Scientists have to start with an idea. They have to have enough faith in the idea to test it. Only then can knowledge make its mark.
