I don't think you should give her anything to stop this. It's natural for female dogs to have this effect on the lawn. If you see her doing it you could hose it down straight away, That should fix it. Or give her a a short walk a few times a day. Please don't make her sick to save your lawn. You should have got a male dog, (but females are usually nicer natured) She loves you unconditionally, reciprocate!

Try watering the lawn when it doesn't rain. It helps dilute the urine where your dog is going to the bathroom. My yard is nice and green. I have 2 dogs.

Do not feed your dog anything that controls the acidity in her urine. Instead, restrict the areas where she can urinate. Better yet, take her for a walk in another area. My dog was killing one of my bushes and I had to block off the area area the bush so he couldn't get to it.

Do not use this product as the dogs urine is high in acid to kill the bacteria in it. This product lowers the acid in the dogs urine. The dog can get bad urinary track infections if the bacteria is not killed. You may save your grass but could kill your dog

Encourage the pup to drink more water. Also
tomato juice. Just a little bit on the puppy food should do it.

I don't know what Aussie is referring to, but you can treat your lawn with lime to make it less acidic. You can buy it at your local hardware/lawn & garden store.
