Her book..Phenomenin..has lots of definitions of these gifts.Try to harness what you've got.

It is an established fact that identical twins have a kind of telepathy that transcends most of the rest of the population. Also, close family members and friends can have this same link. There are sooooo many stories of wives being jolted awake in the middle of the night with a feeling of dread and fear only to find out the next day their husbands were killed in some sudden, horrific way. This happens all the time.
I believe that we humans are more connected than we realize, but most either deny or choose to ignore this special "sixth sense."
On a much more basic level, I had a very close friend when I was in college. I would be driving along and all of a sudden, know that he had called me. (This was long before cell phones.) When I would get home, inevitably my mom would say, "Verne called."
To me, this is just one more evidence that we are more than just bodies--that our souls and spirits are created for eternity, and that we are capable of much more than what we are allowed to do in our physical bodies.

I know that ESP exists, though my particular gift is frivolous - I get a stone cold solid knowledge that I have a winning ticket or have placed a winning bet _after_ I commit my money, not before.
I also had a psychic flash, rock solid surety, that my first child would be a girl.
All I can tell you is that when it happens, I know the difference between my imagination and a genuine flash of insight.
The sad thing is that so many people want to capitalize on it, or fool people simply for notoriety, that it distracts from research into the reality of the phenomenon.

This is a gift pay attention to what it is telling you.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

I can relate and it scares me.
The day my son was murdered my back went out.
I have no history of a bad back!
a few months later my mom passed and again the same day my back went out.
early this year my mother in law passed and sure enough that same day my back was out.
whats really distressing to me is while the man who murdered my son was out on bail we learned he like to go around killing the pets around where he lived. it turned out my back went out then too.
now this man is in an out patient to the mental hospital he was sent too. we've since moved to another city. but once again my back goes out...my fear is killing things again...hopefully not more children...

Grief is an unusual experience and very personal to each person. But there are stages that are common to all grieving persons. Take your time to come to terms with grief...it will be important to your own person.

It happens a lot. I'm not sure what it means. If it means you are conncected or not. You'd need to ask a minister. They are ususally smarter than me.
