Come on..you live in the US of A,I assume. NOTHING is taboo here, much less a one year age difference! This guy Anthony Queen got married with someone FOURTY years younger (and I hear that as of this time he's flirting with the angels right now up in the heavens!). Some marriages here have lasted for only a few seconds! and you're worried about a guy who is only 1 year younger? You either are a real innocent girl, or have been in a maximum security prison in the last 25 years! GO for it!

if the first time he said he was going camping and the second time he couldn't get off work, did he suggest either time an alternate date to go out?
if he didn't he probably isn't interested so i wouldn't suggest asking again.
i am sure it has nothing to do with your age as much as other reasons he doesn't want to get involved with you.
if he is interested he will make the next move.
you asking a third time would make me think you are desperate
good luck

In the game of love there are no rules to follow just as there are no guarantees either. No sense wasting time waiting for him so again its your move so go for it and find out if youre wasting time trying. Age doesnt really matter anymore nor did just as long as you guys are comfortable with it, its your life good luck

Hhhmmm...seems awfully BUSY. Why not asking him this instead of a date:
"Lets get together and hang out. Not like a date, just go to the movies or something? We can go dutch."
If he says no, then move on. If he says cool, then work your way up from there.

My most mature boyfriend was 7 years younger than me. My ex-husband was 10 years older then me and is still the most childish human I have ever known. One year is nothing. You think an 86 year old woman worries that her lifelong hubby is 85? If he's worth the questioning your doing, ask him out, go for it.

Personally I think you've made it real clear your interested in him and there is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out its 2006.
Now maybe its time to back off if hes really interested he isn't going to let you get far and if he isn't interested better you find out now... Good luck :)

well now days age difference dont really matter, what matters is that both people loves each other. you should keep trying, if he is shy and you try to let him make the first move he might think to you are no longer intrested, or he would take forever to make the first move.

Go for it. It happened to me once and we never got together because we thought it was taboo and now we'll never know if we would have been right for each other. If I had to do it over I'd go for it.

it's not taboo at all. my guy is four years younger than me, and it doesn't make any difference. and about asking him out... you've been clear enough that you like him. now you should wait for his move

i would make the first move, he might be shy. its great that you have to confidence to do this and just because he is one year younger doesnt mean anything. good luck.
