Im sitting here with hair color on right now, and its been on for 30 mins , what would happen if i left it on more? will it fry my hair, or damage it in some way?

Hair color quits after about 45 minutes. The only reason to leave it on longer than 30 minutes is if you have resistant grays.
But no I don't think it will fry your hair.

Hi no it wont damage it as much as dying your hair does anyway, all that happens is the colour will stay on longer and the better colour result you will have, I always leave it on for about 45 mins as the colour is richer, But it wont fry your hair as most of the ingrediants stop working after about 45 mins, Hope this helps. Remember to condition well though as dying your hair weakens and damages your hair anyway. Hope this helps

I've died my hair from brown to blonde and I intentionally left it in longer than it says. I had no damage done to my hair and I got the results i wanted. 30 minutes left me with a weird orangey looking head

Hair color is self-timing. It is set to shut itself off after the maximum time advised on the box.

leaving it longer changes the colour gradually to something you DO NOT want!
