Cheeder cheese & jam....not had it with the onion but will try. Cheese & jam is lush tho !

Mine's called a Fred sandwich. We used to get them in Juarez, Mexico in a little bar called Fred's. Split a mexican bolillo or use French rolls. Spread with guacamole (avocado mashed with a little salsa. Or use diced tomatoes, onions and garlic salt instead of salsa), top with thinly sliced ham (2 - 3 slices), swiss cheese, chopped lettuce and tomato slices. Sprinkle w/ salt and pepper.

Peanut butter, spread on a slice of bread, a slice of American cheese on top of that, and a leaf of lettuce. Top this with another slice of bread, and eat.
May sound pretty gross, but it is really good.

Three of my favourite concoctions are-
Two slices of fresh white bread.
Mayonnaise spread on one, Ketchup on the other and Cheese & Onion crisps in between. MMMmmm!!
Again two slices of fresh white bread.
Mayonnaise on one and Pesto on the other with Lettuce, beef/ham and ketchup in between.
Once again, two slices of fresh white bread.
Mayonnaise on one, ketchup on the other and a fried egg in between. Bliss!

my favourite sandwich is two pieces of white bread with bacon,fried egg, fried bread and mushrooms with of course brown sauce in between them.

mine is turkey, brie and cranberry jelly. or cheese and marmite. my aunt used to eat pilchards and raspberry jam....yuk!!! also like emmental with salami mmmm!!
