If it doesn't it's not a religion.
There are many different religions and they all have different ways or dogmas or practices. Sometimes religion has been used by some people within it ( and outside too ) as a mechanism for control or for economic advantage.
But if you study and research the fundementals of any religion you will find a common religious philosophic background that acknowledges the existence of a Spiritual Universe of some sort. That there is more to life than just the Material Universe. That man is more than just a super "evolved" animal. That he is in fact a spiritual being.
Religion is the ONLY thing around that does.
Everything else tells us we are just a bunch of intelligent chemicals!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. That is a matter of the individual. A religion is not in-and-of-itself spiritual, and the temple or church of that religion may or may not practice in a spiritual matter. It is how the religion is practiced that determines the spiritual nature of it.
Though I personally do not see the point of religion without spirituallity. It's kind of like drinking beer wthout the alcohol!

If the search for what spirituality truly represents was/is a game, then religion is just a hurdle.
You are not a human in search of a spiritual experience, but a spirit immersed in a human experience.

Not necessarily. You can be a very spiritual person without necessarily belonging to a "religion" - my interpretation is that religion is more organized and reflects the beliefs of a group of people, whereas spirituality is more personal and reflects the belief of the individual.

No not at all....Religion is generally a belief in a deity and practice of worship, action, and/or thought related to that deity. Loosely, any specific system of code of ethics, values, and belief.
Spirituality is an inner sense of something greater than oneself. Recognition of a meaning to existence that transcends one's immediate circumstances....Basically this means that Religion is more about a generalized belief in A god and it is followed by a set practice of rituals and beliefs where u follow laws and rules. Spirituality is just the inner belief of something bigger then yourself out there....And you don't define it with Religion.

Religion attempts to put into words and teach spirituality. As with any other teaching tools, it can be misinterpreted or be use a way to increase awareness.

No. religion is a scam, intended to take away free thought from the masses, and separate money from the gullible.
