That really depends on a) how LONG the one LONG flight would be and b) which airline.

Classy airlines like Lufthansa and Cathay-Pacific... one long flight would be best... but I would definitely make it a point to get up and roam the aisles for a while to keep my legs from going numb. With other airlines, in Economy class... I would have to think about it.

For any flight that would be over 20 hours, I would probably want to break it up with at least ONE stop... where you have to at least get off your plane. But not necessarily a layover.

The reason I prefer to do it all at once is that I appreciate what time off I have... so I do not want to waste more than I possibly have to WAITING IN AN AIRPORT.

Cheers.

Longest flight as others have reported is operated by using Singapore airways from Singapore to Newark Liberty international. The plane is an Airbus 340-500 which seats one hundred human beings. it truly is an all-employer type configuration. Longest non-end flight i changed into on changed into from l. a. to Taipei. I also did San Francisco to Singapore with a stopover in Hong Kong. both honestly a mode of flights originated in Cincinnati. The San Francisco to Singapore flight changed into only one phase. very last vacation spot changed into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

One long non stop flight is always preferable because every time you go through an airport connection, you are gampling that your plane will be on time or that the connecting flight will wait for you... and in this day and age... that's a crap shoot by any stretch of the imagination.

Long non-stop, bad things happen to people layover flights. You'll miss one or one will be delayed and it will throw it all off!

Well it depends. If you have a long flight to say Germany from the US then I would rather have maybe a few connections so that way you can get food and drinks and maybe using the cleaner bathrooms. I would prefer a few stops.

That depends! Non-stop would be great in the interest of time, but layovers at least give you a chance to truly get up and stretch your legs. . . and maybe get something better to eat than the airline snack boxes.

It will really depends on how much time I have to travel. If I am on a holiday, I will prefer non-stop so I can have maximum time at my holiday destination. Unless the stopover is at some nice place worthwhile for me to break my travel and visit too!

For business travel, I do not mind breaking up the travel so that I spend less time in the plane. Gets too boring on long trips.

A long, non-stop flight, making the journey not lengthy and having few chances of the luggages being misplaced.Just arriving in the destination in on go!

One l-o-n-g flight w/a bottle of Ambien & a book in case I arouse from my drug-induced semi-coma. Walk the aisles & do heel/toe stretches to prevent dvt. Flying is torture; layovers simply extend the torture.

1 long, non stop flight any day. The worst part is taking off and landing.
