Is The Word Niger In The Bible?

I heared Some One say It is in act:13 but that not ****** it is just niger so i thought it meant the country but i did research and the counrty was not around just yet also i looked it up in a bible search and it said it meant black so

is the niger we use for black in the bible

It is in Acts 13:1, as B R pointed out, and is the Latin surname given to Symeon. If you pronounce the word tiger as if the “g” was a “j” it become Tijer. Niger rhymes with Tijer. It is from Latin. It means black or dark.

The “N” word you are referencing, with two “n’s”, was not in existence in the first century and certainly was not used as the pejorative term it is today.

Incidentally, your question reads: "is the niger we use for black..." You used the term "we." Do you use that term for black people?

Niger was a name of a teacher in the church of Antioch. I don't think it is pronounced in the "racist" way which is usually spelled with two "g"s I believe it is pronounced like NYE-JER. And yes it does mean "black" but that isn't saying anything racist either. The word for black in Spanish is *****. It is just a word.
I am not sure where the actual "n' word came from, but I can tell you that it was some A**hole's way of putting someone down!!

The word Niger is originally pronounced the same as ******,....they was calling them ****** because one they were trying to insult the disciples and prophets and two they were black. Job 30:30, Rev. 1:14, Jeremiah 14:2, lamentations 4:8, Song of Solomon 1:5 (which is the words of Solomon not sheba as written in verse one). The word niger IS in the Bible, and it was sometimes used as a synonym for black, someone from the area that today we would call Nigeria.

The "N" word is spelled with two "g"s whether you spell it like a brother, or as abuse.

N.B. the pronunciation is "ni" as in "night" -jer" as opposed to "***-er".
