ALL THE TIME!! I know that I esspecially get nervous around a guy that I find attractive or whom I have some sort of a connection with. It is not that I let it get in the way of getting to know someone but most times guys find a nervous or shy girl cute and if that happens I always feel a bit more comfortable.

I get especially nervous around guys I like. But I am working on it. Trying not to care what they think about you is a good way to not be nervous.

Absolutely! Guys and girls can get nervous around the opposite sex, especially when dealing with someone we are attracted to...we want them to feel that way toward us in return, and may become nervous that they won't.
Some are shy (myself included) and that poses an additional barrier and adds nervousness...we're not sure what to say, we don't want to sound silly but we also want to be able to hold an intelligent conversation, but where to begin? We're often not comfortable talking to people we don't know, and yet here we are facing someone we want to get to know...hoping they'll do the work for us.
It's completely normal to be nervous around the opposite sex...but a great many people are not, and that's a bonus for them...they're able to relax and be themselves immediately, and are less concerned if the other person doesn't think favorably of them...
We nervous types should strive to be more relaxed and confident...we'll get better results when dealing with the opposite sex, and also get less bruised egos and feelings if our attraction to them isn't reciprocated...

i only get nervous when i am around boys that i like
some girls are nervous to all boys and some are nervous to just guys that they like

i get super nervous around guys and i let the guy make the first move, so yea i guess there are a few relationships that didn't happen because of that.

i'm always nervous around guys... especially the guys i'm interested in. wish that would go away. would be a heck of a lot easier on my behalf!
