No. You are generalizing, obviously you have run into some Christians who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. For this I apologize. I have been to those churches and I know what your talking about. This is why unfortunately I have been dragging my feet trying to find a new church. I don't want to run into the Sunday mask people. One of these days you'll meet a really nice Christian (how they are supposed to be) and your generalizations will be cleared up. Have a nice day!

Superstition is the fruit of an idol mind. One that makes up it's own religious tenets. Like a defense attorney who will do anything to get off his/her client. Don't forget to take your favorite pen into that briefing, it may help you remember something useful for the case ahead.
Bigotry is the fruit of individuals who think they are better then others either by some cast or through education. Both are idols and folly. Some education is valuable but the education gained to destroy lives in court as a lawyer does is the ultimate in shameless bigotry.
Persecution of Christians maybe. 150,000 Christians will have been put to death this year just because they associate with the name. Why not get off your a$$ and defend the 150,000 lost lives with a bit of that worthless sheepskin you are trying to obtain? Oh, that's right. You want to be a prosecutor. Wrong line of questioning.

The real fruits of the Holy Spirit are mentioned in Galatians 5 as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

I am so sorry that you ran into a Christian that was superstitious, a bigot and persecuted you. Unfortunately, it is always a negative experience that we most remember about anyone and that may reflect on their group as a "profile".

You can be sure that a Christian passionate about living in God's kingdom would not hold these weaker values. Yes, we are all human, the good and the bad. Hopefully, the good will inspire the bad, and borderline angered, into seeking goodness and love for one another.

God bless you always, please forgive that brother or sister in Christ for their trespasses. They should do the same for you and I.

The Ebeneser Baptist Church in Alabama would disagree. May of the leaders of Solidarity in Poland discussed their ideas while in Church. In fact they used going to church on Sunday as a sign of defiance.
I contribute to the Christians Children fund every month. They feed, cloth and educate children of all religions around the world.
One thing I question is weather you are using this way of thinking to be prejudice against religion itself.

No sometimes we love too! But it may be the way you treat people that gets the result your getting. I agree with OWL007, maybe you need a real Christain friend to show you what their fruits are.
