We have to know what he likes before we can tell you want to get him.
Take him to dinner, or to the movies, or both. Buy him a CD that he's thinking of getting. There are many things you can get for him. Just know what he likes and go from there :)

Find him a miniature of the thing he likes most, if that happens to be you; model for the local handmade chocolate artist and have him make a bunch of chocs in your image. That would do it for me! Hope it works for you and him too.

Get him a mixed tape with all his fav songs ... he'll know you really care and pay attention to him ! :) another idea is get a big vase or jar and decorate it and put little love notes in it so whenever hes not with you he can read one...
