It will catch on Fire. Here's a funny story.

Okay i am a kid so I didn't know any better yet. One day I was making Macaroni and it wasn't cooking in the pot so I put the whole pot in the microwave. Yeah I figured that wasn't the best idea when I saw the handle sizzling. So not thinking it was hot I reach in and grab the handle. Well I definitely burnt my hand it and it hurt like heck. So now I know better.

Another time I wanted a bagel and it was in a bag with a twist tie and so the twist tie is metal and when I out it in the Microwave it started to smoke up and my mom was like what is that smell. that happened when I was like 7. the other one happened when I was 10 I think.

So I have had some bad experiance with putting metal in the Microwave. Don't do what I did. LOL. Enough said

Once I put fish wrapped up in foil in the microwave. After a few seconds it spattered and sparkled like fireworks. When I took the food out after a few seconds, the foil had disintegrated into the foo and turned black and the food could not be eaten. I wouldn't recommend it. But, my micro has an oven and I can use metal when it is in oven mode.

It is felt that the microwaves build up on the metal and short it out.

You actually can microwave with metal in the machine, but it has to be done properly.

'Mythbusters' proved it could be done.

It causes arcing. You can ruin your microwave. What's really cool though is to put a CD in it and turn it on for a few seconds. If you need to destroy a disc completely, this is the way to do it.

when you pay for something, it's yours & you can do what you want with it & who says you can't put metal in it, I love sparks & smoke, looks & smell sweet. Try a butter tart in a tin cup. the spark set the sugar on fire & it gives off this wonderful green flame. OOoooow !
