pumpkin, im inline to have two lives when my physical body wears out my spritual life will then take place, and much like your suggesting will be the test of how i treated people to best of my ability here in this life. for the most part i try and live by my own credo "do what is right , regardless of whether its fun or not" this is a rule of thumb i place on me and i push hard in my house for my family to live by it. i do understand some people and their attitudes towards treating other people with kindness and respect as i have done alot of traveling this past decade and have met so many people accross the 48 states that not only took my generosity and kindness as a weakness and they exploited it making me numb to a cry of help from other people. i still try to help when i can and somtimes im wrong and have to then reasure myself not everyone is a person with low morals... reading your question proves that not everyone is like that and a few of you still exist out there.

Yes you are quite right in one way but do believe that there is life after life - reincarnation.
Just ponder for one minute the cycle of life , we plant vegetables and they grow just like kids, we hatch eggs and grow the chick and eat it , the hen goes o laing more nad more eggs. The seeds from the plants spurts and grows just like we eject sperm and fertilise the ova for a child to be conceive. This goes on and on there is no end
Life is a cycle what dies today revives at the same moment may be not as the original but near to that original

It could work that way, or it could work just the opposite. If someone believes this is the only life we have they might think they should live it up and act however they want to and be completely selfish, because they wouldn't want to waste a moment of it on someone else.

That would be a great basis for a universal social contract that would have all people and all nations working for the common good of all. However, as long as we have religions attempting to assert their influence by trying to out-breed each other and as long as we have corporations that are trying to concentrate power and wealth to control dwindling resources in an ever increasingly populated world, it won't happen.

No, unfortunantly us humans are self centered selfish sinners who in having but one life would want all the toys with no desire to share. We also have a tendency to make what is right wrong, and what is wrong right......Please go to www.ucg.org The right knowledge will be your answer.....Funny thing about us humans is we accept mans laws which are overburdening, but reject GODS laws and sabbaths which are not. Our love of sin is that powerful.

Maybe but I dunno if we do live once or not. But they're have been religious wars etc. Maybe if they're was no religion or everyone accept each others beliefs or non beliefs. People should treat each other with kindness and each other happy any way whether we live once or there is an afterlife.

We have an inner life; a family life; a public life; a work life; a spiritual life; an intellectual life; a community life; and a sleeping life. We must be true to ourselves in all of these.
