The most weight you can safely lose by August 3rd is between 4 to 6 lbs. Focus on your protein intake, eat NOTHING deep-fried, and eliminate processed sugar. Have a bowl of oatmeal or Grape Nuts for breakfast every morning, and forget trying to live exclusively on salads. Your body needs a balance of all nutrients to maintain health and avoid "bottoming out".
Regarding pills. You've already discovered that diet pills are a big no, but a multivitamin is essential right now. Try One-A-Day WeightSmart, and back that up with a low dose of Chromium Picolinate. The chromium will eliminate cravings for sugar, and the vitamin will give your body the necessary energy to meet your weight loss goals.
Walk for 30 minutes every morning in the next two weeks. This will also boost your metabolism and you can get your daily exercise in before the day gets blazing hot.
Finally, take an honest look in the mirror, focus on what looks good, and love the you that is NOW. You need a positive outlook on your current appearance for weight loss goals to be effective; loving the you that you're in will set you up for greater success in acheiving realistic goals for yourself.

First, saltine crackers - not a good idea. The salt will make you hold water - add to weight and bloat. Best thing to do is eat at least 3 healthy meals (keyword - healthy) - but in smaller portions. Get a book on calorie count and write down everything you eat. I believe 1500 calories is a sensible amount. Anything less I would not do without checking a checkup. If you go on a crash diet for a short time you won't stick to it. Better to make it a practice to eat smaller portions. At one time I thought I was eating appropriately. When I wrote down caloric count for the day I was in for a big surprise. You have no idea how they add up.

I have had great success from doing a low carb diet... I have a back injury so exercise is very limited right now... I have found that calories really do matter as well, but If you eat eggs, they fill up up fast.Mix it up, make omelets with cheese, or bacon. Watch the hamburger, and other meats,They have a lot of calories but 1 or 2 will not hurt. Stay away from fruits and Veggies for a least 2 weeks sounds weird but true. If you low carb it you will lose fast.. Then you will have to do tummy exercises to firm up. Good Luck!!!

Get some jogging shoes with supper soft support for heels and the whole foot in general.
get up early tomorrow morning and jog for an hour or two.
Stretch your body, arms, waist, thigh, calf, neck for half an hour.
Get a guide on stretching. It relaxes your muscles.
Focus on breathing all the time. Listen to the air passing through your nostrils and imagine it going to your lungs and to your blood.
Concentrate on the workings of your body.
After exercise, drink electrolyte drinks. And lots of water.
Relax, just listen to your breathing. Focus on your body.
Eat very little and go to sleep 10.00 am - 4.00 pm
Get up late afternoon and jog for two hours.
Stretch again.
Drink some electrolyte drinks. And lots of water. Relax.
Eat very little and go to sleep.
If you cannot sleep well. do some reading but keep your mind focused on something you like other than food.
Do that for 7 days. Jog, Stretch & Relax a lot but eat only as much as you think you live with.
You will loose weight, gain stamina, suppleness and improve your general well being.

Hello Chrissy...
I am now losing weight. It takes me a daily resolve and a minute to minute concentration some times, to remember, and put into practice, this easy, simple, common sense, idiot proof saying which is like a mantra, (over and over again I must pray to the heavens for support in my efforts) which is .......
.....burn more calories than I take in (eat)......
This means counting cals. / being Honest with myself (this is where the praying comes in) / counting cals. and writing down everything I put in my mouth and recording the time of day too.
This also means I must exercise if I want to loose pounds of my personal fat. I can sit on an excesses bicycle and in 1 hour I have burned a whole 300 calories which is like one ice cream cone! So I am realizing it is easier to reduce what I eat and this is hard for me. I get cravings whooo baby I get the munchies! But again the prayer thing comes in.............
...............This is a lifestyle change not a quick fix..................
A couple of tricks which only use mental effort are
1- Never eat after 6 pm
2- Eat a little every 2 hours
3- Never a big meal to get stuffed ...never
4- Up to 1 gallon of water each day (not as easy as it sounds)
5- The prayer thing...
Good luck with it, it can and will work, love yourself and see yourself in your minds eye as slim, healthy, and happy.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm
Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/carbohydrates.html
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at http://www.exrx.net/
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.
*Click on all the source links below to get the full benefit of the recommendations. The answers presented to your health questions are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
