thanks in part to the WTO, large coorperations are now able to patent living things, therefore allowing them to patent the seeds of plants that are essential to many native cultures, and developing nations, causing massive amounts of economic destruction to poor countries, while lining the pockets of the elite. Why didn't god just patent that sh*t in the first place?

Our Awesome Lord God do not need to get patent rights for all the things He created for all things belongs to Him in the first place. It is through Him that the universe, earth, living things, Adam, Eve, etc, etc are created.
Patents are "things" or "ïssues"created by man to take possession and credits of their effort (when in the first place is God that created man) so that their ego and pride could be lifted.
When God created us, God intention is to bless all of us with all wonderful goodness of His on earth. However, we failed Him that resulted in all the mess that we are into now.
What is the purpose of patents when the rights are restricted to a few individuals when what God wants in the first place is to bless all...

Have you ever heard of someone being able to take possesions with them when they die..
It is mans fault that they allow greed into their lives, not God's..it would be like blaming someone else for hating another person..everyone has their own free will..
