wrong Tm_tech I'm about as liberal as they come and believe that self defese is a basic logical response.

Keep in mind that a Terrorist is a person whom lacks basic ethical values. He or she is behaving like a child. You know, when I child commits some infraction, then is angry at the parent for catching him or her.

Their hope is to get the US caught in some infraction with the Geneva Convention and the United Nations. If you remember during the first Gulf War the terrorists really didnt have this much to say because there wasnt so much worldwide public outrage against it.

Because terrorists are cowards who hide behind children and other people to do their dastardly deeds. They are so self-involved, they cannot imagine anyone daring to touch them. They feel they have all the control....are untouchable. I once read in a police report that those who do the most hideous of crimes are the ones who cry the most when they are caught so this seems to bear out that theory.

All terrorists have the "will of Allah" behind them, which, of course, gives the the right to be cowards. When we retaliate, that means that we are going against the will of Allah, and they can't figure out how we do that, so they whine

They don't really whine because they are surprised or upset. They whine because they know the west is plaqued by touchy feely liberals that will come to their aid.
