Why are the vast majority of the people on these sites now kids asking stupid, innane, mis-informed, mis-spelled and generaly assinine kid questions.
We need to somehow seperate the questions into different catagories of expertise.
Every time I ask a question or try and answer one I have to wade through 95% of the questions that are directed at grade six students. (or less) Any suggestions?
I'm trying to ask questions like "Could there be a link between the expansion of the universe and the speed of light. In other words, if the expansion is speeding up does the speed of light increase at the same rate even though we couldn't measure it? Since I'm not a physisist I think it's a relevant question.
NOT; Why doesn't anyone like me? No kidding, that was one I ran across. I was tempted (but didn't) to reply; "Because your an idiot!"

Hi moses,

I think the correct spelling is SHYTE.
Enjoy 360 for what it is - according to me -
RELAXATION.
I have received a couple of interesting answer but don't see them as the Gospel Truth.

If I really want information I prefer to do my own research and not rely on opinions.

NOW, STOP FUMING

My understating is that this is the first phase of yahoo answers and some of your concerns may be addressed in later versions. I read that the points system will be used to find experts and help weed out some of the immature people.

However, I don't see a very realistic way for yahoo to accomplish this. The points system encourages the opposite behavior by awarding 2 points per answer regardless of the value of the answer.

I agree with the first person, you should search elsewhere to escape the immaturity and find thoughtful people with thoughtful answers.

It's too bad that a site like this is bogged down with the types of questions that you cite.

Im not a physisist..but as I understand it the universe is infinite ..we can't imagine that ..we have no relevant concepts here to compare with ..so if the the universe expands maybe the speed of light will too ..logically more light is needed ...as for your other comments ..I dont know you ...but I will state that to belittle others because of their lack of knowledge or information seems beneath you as you sound like an educated man ...and what you said soundslike a form of ignorant eliteism (i.e.putting others down because you were lucky enough in life to get an education)

Dear Sir,
There is a Yahoo! Group called "Candy for the Brain". You may be interested in that group because it is geared towards intellectuals. There are no political or religious promotions and no spam at all. Although there may be young people in the group, I have yet to see juveniles in there being juvenile! By the way, I like your question and you may find someone in the referenced group who might be able to answer it.

Sincerely,
TC
