Both can be dangerous and only a doctor can tell you what is best for each individual to control either one.

Neither is that good, but if you have to have one, low blood pressure, because it's easier to bring it up than down, move around get active, ect. However, high blood pressure is different, you have to lie down and rest and could take a few hours. Also with high b,p, you have the risk of strokes. My mom has had high for years and 2 or 3 srtokes.
One which laned her in the hospital, she had to go to one about 40 miles from here (one way). Thay was the time it got up to somehing like 220/140 I think. It has effected her legs as well. She makes sure she takes her meds.
Take care of it before it takes care of you.

The median ideal blood pressure hovers around 120/70. For high blood pressure it may be necessary to lose excess body fat and begin a light aerobic exercise routine (walking) to strengthen the muscles of the heart. It's important to see a physician if you've been found to have high blood pressure to determine if medication is necessary to manage it.

I don't know much about the management of low blood pressure. Go to WebMD.com and you'll find tons of medical questions answered. It's a great site!

High blood pressure can induce heart failure or strokes. Low blood pressure can cause orthostatic hypotension or the feeling of fainting when standing. Thin people are prone to hypotension as are some diabetics with involvemen to the autonomic nervous system. In this case, some steroid compounds to cause fluid retention and an abdominal belt is used.

High is very bad. Low is good if you don't have symptoms...it's even a sign of good health. I'm a 100/80 wich is considered low, but my doctor think it's great because I have no symptoms.

To get rid of high blood pressure. Sometimes it's genetic so you can't get rid of it, but you can at least help a little: eat healthy, exercise, no smoking, no stress.

It is better to have low blood pressure, because you don't have to get rid of it. Unless it goes incredibly low, but you would probably be having other symptoms and the paramedics would have already been called. My skinny sister has approximately 90/60 and the doctors have no problem with that.

High blood pressure may be a result of high insulin production (hyperinsulinemia). For basic information on hyperinsulinemia, check out www.mayoclinic.com and search for hyperinsulinemia. For basic information on hypoglycemia - another manifestation of high insulin, check out www.hufa.org.

Neither is good. The only way i know to lower high blood pressure is to calm down and not be too stressed. If it doesnt go down the doc will give you some medication to do it.

Neither is good. I don't know how to get rid of low BP, but if you want to lower your blood pressure you have to eat right, not fats or sugars, and do a lot of aerobics to raise you heart rate which somehow lowers your blood pressure. I don't know why, but I know that that is what my Dr. told me to do.
