The church is the place where believers are. We are the church. So be it in my house, at a concert, in the church building at a picnic or whatever. Wherever believers are together and fellowshipping is where the church is. It is not limited to a physical structure. A church building is a building that is sanctified (set apart) for God and the use of his people.

The word church refers to the people of Christ. The greek word used in the bible that we translate as "church" is "Ecclesia" which litterally means "an assembly" or "ones who are called out."

Ephesians 1:22-23 says, "And God placed all things under his [Jesus] feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way." The Body of Christ is made up of all believers from the time of Pentecost until the Rapture.

1. The individual, mostly his/her body is God's spirit's temple (so said St. Paul, would you believe that?)
2. A bunch of aforementioned temples coming together for fellowsip and mutual encouragement.
3. A worldwide movement across boundaries, language identities, ethnic barriers, gender, social strata, sexual orientation of the above contraptions, who place their hopes in God's justice to the poor and see in Jesus Christ the most satisfactory revelation of God's truths and love.

Your temple is truly your body. Could you exist without it?
