and to follow him ,would you believe him. how would you know god if you met him ,would you dare ask the lord for identification to prove who he was,would this not be a show of lack faith and to the lord face and all, what would you do

When a living Master meets a worthy disciple, nothing else matters, as to who is a beggar etc...
The student gets naturally drawn towards the Master, and all logic stops. Something else starts ! Then everything seems to happen by itself !

Well God(Jesus) said that the next time He came back everyone would know. So, since what the beggar was saying was contrary to the Bible, I would reject him.
