I was walking my friends dogs and my mom came by and asked if I wanted some take out for breakfast and to bring the dogs in the car, I go in the car and she went inside i did not move, and when we got back to the house of the dogs i stepped out and my akle started to kill. Now sitting at home my ankle is throbing i have ice on it but it is just throbbing. Whats the deal here? Any ideas?

I have a barrier in the back, So i just opened the back door the jumped in I shut it and walked to the front, and the gate/ barrier thingy kept them from getting to me, so i don't thnik I turned it cuz I was not working at all to keep them calm and what not.

Trying to manipulate yourself in the car with dogs -- are you sure you didn't turn your ankle? Doesn't take much. Turned my andle once and I know the pain. Keep off it and apply ice - 20 min on 20 min off. Some Tylenol might help you get over the bad times. It will only be bad for a day or two then will become tolerable. However, from that point on I find you have to be aware that it is easy to turn again. Ice immediately if not sooner. If it doesn't go away in a few days, better see a doctor. You may have something more than a strain. Good luck.

if ice doesnt work i suppose you could try a heat pad or something.
