Prejudice is TAUGHT and LEARNED. You need to work hard to unlearn it! I was raised in a family that had no prejudice, thank goodness, so it's easy for me to see all people as equal and one of God's children. I have my parents to thank for that. I always remember my mother saying, "I could bounce a black grandbaby on my knee just like a white one". So, to answer your question I do not believe people need to "stick to their own kind" but in a sociey with so much racism it's easier that way. Easier doesn't mean better though. Does this make sense???

They are sticking to their own kind....human kind. Love comes in all colors and if two people are in love, so be it. Why is it my place to judge what you do or vice versa? Too many people think they can run other peoples lives. But to a racist, THEY do feel you should stick with your own kind. And they typically feel their particular race is superior.

it is the mistake of the family in specific and the surrounding in general, most people act according to the way and the ideas they grow up with.
