When my child was two, our neighbor had a "monster tree" in his back yard. All other trees were OK, it was just that one "monster tree" that spooked my two year old. I never did figure that out, and of course when quizzed about it now, my child says "I don't remember that".

PS# I don't know why people call the twos the terrible twos. I loved the things my child did at that age, I was laughing every day. This time will go so fast. If you have time, you should write some of the cute things they do so you can remember when they are older. Somethings are easy to forget.

My son is afraid of whistle of Pressure Cooker. He will run to the corner or tie himself around our legs in such a hurry that you can't stop laughing. And he laughs back when whistle is over. Real fun.

My daughter is terrified of hats on other people. If she sees someone coming down the road wearing a hat she will throw herself on the floor and have screaming fit. No idea why!
