For all the things you get to do in the meantime: making friends, experiencing love, traveling, having a family, etc.

i don't know if there is really a point to life or a reason but what i do know is we are here so why not live?? i love life i don't want to die,but I'm not just going to sit around and wait for it to happen I'm going to live and love and be the best person i think I'm capable of being then i will die and the world will forget about me!! its sad and i don't know what if any thing comes after life, but that's an even better reason to stop questioning why this and why that and just get on with the life that we have!!

The point of living is to explore the possibilities of the human soul and mind, and for "pursuit of happiness". Dying is unavoidable because we are organisms that hit our regenerative peaks at the ages of 18 for females and 21-22 for males, at which time our T-cells begin to shorten and the aging process starts.

The "point of living" for most species generally revolves around procreation. We live so we can reproduce, and so that our children can reproduce. Many people don't find purpose or set significant goals until they have children. The responsibility for nurturing and caring for another person, specifically one's own child, often defines purpose in people's lives.

Those that are more career driven and choose not to have children can find comfort and purpose in the pursuit of material wealth and the freedoms that come with it. Those that forgo marriage and childbearing for a more spiritual path find solace in the peace that comes with surrendering their lives to God.

With regards to where we "go", there's not a soul on this planet that has the answer to this question - it's all theory.

In the words of Aerosmith, "Life's a journey, not a destination". I don't know about you, I'm loving the time I've got here. Having a family, being with friends, laughing, dancing, eating ice cream. Smelling the grass. Feeling sand between my toes.

After we die.. think of it this way. When you go to an amusement park, and you're waiting in line for this cool ride. And in line, you're joking with your friends, drinking your soda, and talking about what a cool ride it's gonna be. That's life, and the ride is heaven, only it never ends. The line might seem kinda pointless and sometimes boring but that's just how it works. Just know that what you're doing here on earth is preparing you for eternity, and savor it...

What is the point to living? An opportunity to learn, love and touch, taste, see and feel everything you can for the time you are here. The point of life is to give life and to allow our species to live on as long as the earth does.

Life is too short to worry about it. Just live and do everything you can.

why does there need to be a point? you make your life what you want it to be (hopefully)...the average human lifespan is mid-70s now, so that's a fair number of years to make a difference (if you want), have some fun (if you want), or just exist until time to depart the earth...

My point in living is that I don't desire to die just yet, so I'm gonna do what I can to keep on living and having fun...

Life is a journey: it had a beginning so it must have an end.
If you concern yourself with the end you forget the beginning and, more important, forget the middle.

When the end comes, even if you're not around anymore, you'll go on living in the memory of those who surrounded you and on who you left your mark.
That's what you must remember.

So you must do your best in life, hope the end of it doesn't mean the end of you.

I'd say you need to find that out for yourself. For me, the point of living is having good times with friends, family and pets.

because life is a gift. And you have some 80 years on this planet and it´s up to you what you do with them.
Help other people, animals, whatever. You will see how beautiful life is.
