I have seen a lot of people attacking religion in general, so I ask what religion could you come up with, what would it be based on. Could people twist it into something else?

I wouldn't create a religion at all. I would teach mankind to leave the religions of man, in the trashcan of failed ideas. Jesus didn't come here to lead us to religion. In fact, besides sin, the only thing he attacked was religious hypocrisy. The message He came to give us, was simple, elegant, and the only solution for the survival of the human race. "The Kingdom of God is within you". Because of the confusion that resulted from the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D., this powerful message has all but been lost. If we approach God, with a childlike attitude of trust, and ask Him into our hearts, He will send His Spirit into us, and bond with us. We become new creatures, part mortal, and part Immortal. The old values of materialism and fear fall away. Love and Wisdom, become the foundation of all our choices, and we have embarked on the Path of Eternity. We don't need any more religions, we just need God.

I, of course cannot create my own religion, but it would be Bible based if I did. All we need to know about God and his Son, comes from it.

I wouldn't assume to have the brains to know where to start, plus I don't know how to manipulate people (since I am not by nature a con man). So I wouldn't have a clue where to start my religion. I think that is where people fool themselves into thinking they are smarter than God. If I started a church it would have to be strickly bible based.

It would be based on everyone following their own sense of moral being and obeying state or federal law, not basing everything they do around one stupid religion.

the word religion puts too many constrictions on the subject.
what i would do is let them know about my FAITH.
is does not adhere to just one thing but incompases many beliefs and traditions.
