A friend of mine has Leukemia, and has no medical insurance to speak of. He is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant, and I would like to have a fund raiser for him, but really have no idea of how to start. Can anyone give me any ideas?

Contact your local Cancer Society, and then make sure you contact your local T.V. Stations too so they will cover the event. Good Luck!

If you are in TN. Call ST. Judes in Memphis they spexialize in the care and foundations of all aspects of cancer. Also try the Ronald McDonald foundation. Alot of times they will lead you to the proper channels and they will donate to your cause if it is legitimate with proof... Good luck to you:)
