I would say in order to say someone "I Love You". you need to know that person very well. Also "Love" is a stronger word the "Like". You may like a person for onw or the other good quality/features he/she has. But you love a person in entirety. Everyone "likes" before they start "loving".

The fact that she/he has said only "I like u" is so strong that u are waiting for her/him to see more of YOU.
and u are always waiting for her/him to tell u "I love u"
that makes your relationship to be continued again and again!
wonderful yeah?!
but imagin he/she has told u "I love u"....
you'll suppose that the story of being liked by her is finished! and you may not pay attention to him/her like past.
always consider that more joy is when you try to reach somebody.. not after that..!

Perhaps because they are being strictly truthful. 'Love' is not just supercharged 'like'. It's another emotional stage entirely.

i think they are shy because they didn't know if the one they like love them but if they know that the one they love like him/her that's the time they say i love you....

HE /SHE IS FULL OF NAUGHTY THOUGHTS IHAD ONCE EXPERIENCED THAT AND I THINK ITS NOT NORMAL TO LIKE A PERSON BECAUSE A PERSON IS MEANT TO BE LOVED AND AN OBJECT OR A THING OR AN ANIMAL LIKE A GOAT IS MEANT TO BE LIKED. SHOULD HE/SHE LIKES YOU IT MEANS YOU ARE AN ANIMAL OR JUST NOTHING TO HIM.
