I love having my hair blow dried professionally. Why can't I ever get it to look like that?!
I hate it when my hair is being washed and water goes in my ear or on my face. And I hate all the standard questions - "Are you going out tonight?" "Going anywhere nice on holiday?" "Would you like to buy X product?" Grr.

I confess. I"m a hair junkie [there's another word [sl*t] that fits even better but Yahoo won't let me type it in here (smile)] - it took a while to find a stylist I really like, but it's been fabulous after that. I love getting shampooed (a real luxury), chatting while my color's processing, and on a cold day there's sitting under a warm dryer that just relaxes me into a meditative bliss. The fact I know I look good walking out the door is the real reason, but these are some of the reasons I love being there.

I don't enjoy going to the hairdressers much. If I was having high-lights,I always seemed to get put in the window in town. I'd sit there with a rubber cap on and all my purple covered hair sticking up all over the place. It made me cringe on a busy Saturday. Then by the time I'd had it washed and been under a hot hairdryer, I'd have to walk through the town with my face bright red and no make-up left. Not a relaxing time.

I don't like going to the hairdressers, just sitting there in front of a mirror with some girl playing with my hair. And whenever I'm there they make an appointment for me in another 5 weeks so I can't possibly grow it because they keep cutting it off! Now I haven't been in a year but I'm too scared to get a trim in case they decide I ought to get it all short again!

I hate the qeues which are there sometyms and also some hav a not so pleasing smell due to th relaxers,moistures............. blah blah used but I love the massage when my hair is being washed and of course the look after my hair do. Plus all th compliments "U r looking good" cant get enough

Well I love getting my hair washed, cut, and styled by someone else. I hate it when they screw up my hair and it's not what I wanted or if they do a half job. That is why you try different hair dressers, find a good beautician, and stick with them cause eventually they will know exactly what you want.

It can be relaxing. If the hairdresser is a fun person then you can also have a good time talking to him or her.

I loathe it - the magnified mirrors make you look awful and all the girls working in there have make-up plastered on (obviously used to the unflattering mirrors), so I go with no make-up on and wet hair to get in and out as fast as possible!

The worst thing is the pounding music we have to endure. Talking to the stylist is a nightmare as you can't hear her!
