i have just split with my bf and i am giving him back his t-shirt. The thing is he told me yesterday he was gonna let me know when he is free next week once he has checked his rotta at work to see when he is working. He hasnt been in contact and has not answered my texts or calls. He said i can give it back cuz i find it a heartache keeping it and he understands this. What do i do?

He hurt you and now you want to give his shirt back. Are you sure its not just an excuse to see him and try to get back with him. It sounds like it. Look it sounds to me he has made it pretty clear that he is not interested anymore do yourself a favour and throw it or burn it. You will only end up upsetting yourself if he comes around to collect it. You need to pick yourself up , call some friends and go out and have a good time. There is someone better out there for you , you just have to be patient,

I was hurt pretty badly by my ex too. I finally got over him and we broke up in March. I still have his shirt and on some days I would just hold it and cry.. it has mascara stains on it now.On the days I couldn't bare to see it I just tucked it away.
It is neatly tucked away for safe keeping now. I loved him and he will always be a part of me. I had to learn to let him go for my own sanity. But this shirt will remain... trying to remember what my friend call it recently when you keep a sentimental item... I think she called it "SOUL TIES".
Keep it and when you get older you will pick it up and remember the good times you shared after the pain is gone. Let him go and do not call or write him. You will just prolong your healing. It will be okay..
