Go to a site to read digital camera reviews.
U can get Cannon and Sony cybershots for 10000/-
most of the cameras have 3x optical zoom. Video recording
depends on the memory u use. Rechargable batteries are supplied with cameras. U can buy extra Sanyo batteries and
a charger if not supplied with camera.

always sony is the best.. go for sony cybershot ..there are lots of under 10K... video recording depends on the memory card u use in the camera.. u cal always buy cards with higher capacity.. go for 512 MB (1GB is advisible) memory card.. by defaulf all cameras have 128 or 256 MB memory card....

rechargable batteries comes with the camera or u can buy some spares..u'll get rechargable battery of sony/panasonic.. go for it..

Nikon Cool Pix is good. There are a number of models and I am sure u can find one within ur budget.

Look at Fuji Lumix too,,,u might like it.

Nikon Cool Pix starts at Ca$ 229.95 that is abt 12,000 INR..shop around and u may land a good camera for INR 10k.
